Pocket Your Dollars: A Book Review

Pocket Your Dollars: 6 Attitude Changes That Will Help You Pay Down Debt, Avoid Financial Stress, and Keep More of What You Make

If you are looking for a great book to help you work on a budget, then Pocket Your Dollars is not for you.  Carrie Rocha is not another Dave Ramsey, teaching you all of the techniques and tools you need to successfully save your money (although to take her advice, that is logically where you would find yourself).

Carrie Rocha’s book is designed to help you change your mind about money.  She uses her own personal experiences and attitudes to demonstrate how we sabotage our own attempts to become money-savvy.  In Rocha’s book, she helps you to identify what you are doing that will eventually create a financial disaster.

This book is for the person who thinks they need more money to make ends meet.  It is for the entrepreneur who thinks they can spend it all.  It is for anyone who wants to find freedom from their money and live their life more fully.

Now I am making my husband read it, so we can put her theories into practice!

*Disclaimer:  I received this book from Bethany House publishers in exchange for my opinion.  All opinions are my own.

About themommyfactor

First of all, I am a child of God. I was blessed to come to know Him as my personal Savior when I was just 5 years old! God has blessed me with a wonderful husband, Jamie, who puts up with all of my crazy ideas; a beautiful daughter, Hannah, who is teaching me how to mother in God's grace; a handsome little boy, Ephraim, who keeps us all laughing; and bossy, sweet-natured Harmony, who is never boring! We are enjoying the ups and downs of being parents and look forward to meeting others who are on the same unpredictable journey of parenthood!
